Sara Grace
I have three roommates (four if you count Charlie), and I love them so much. Two of them are named Hannah, which is not confusing at all. Hannah Solomon has been gone all summer while she operates and manages a youth camp with YM360. While she’s been gone, we found a “replacement Hannah” to sublease her room for July. Her name is Sara Grace, and she’s instantly become the house’s new favorite roommate.
She’s 24 and beginning her first big girl job out of graduate school. She’s a speech therapist, and I can tell she’s going to be an incredible one. She’s patient, smart and has been a great friend from the start. Also— a talented baker. I can show you the scale to prove it.
The funny thing is that we both attended Ole Miss at the same time. Like “ships passing in the night” kind of thing. We knew a lot of the same people, but for some reason, God saved our friendship for now. It’s been really fun to reminisce and talk about things that not many people from around here understand about Oxford or Ole Miss.
Her friendship has been a sweet surprise this July, and now I think that Hannah is the “replacement Sara Grace” after all. It doesn’t hurt that Charlie is obsessed with her, too.
