Home as a Creative Project

Storytelling Through Design, Content & Community

Over the past several years, I have documented the transformation of my 1940s Birmingham apartment through social media, sharing the process of decorating, styling, collecting antiques, and creating a home that reflects both personality and purpose.

What began as a creative outlet evolved into an engaged online community centered around home design, storytelling, and everyday life. Through authentic content, thoughtful design choices, and a consistent visual aesthetic, I have built an audience that follows not only the finished spaces, but also the stories behind them.

This project combines many of the same skills I bring to client work: creative direction, visual storytelling, content creation, audience engagement, styling, and brand development.

  • Conceptualized and executed the design of a 1940s apartment

  • Styled and curated interiors using vintage and collected pieces

  • Produced and managed social media content

Impact

Through this project, I cultivated an engaged audience across social platforms while creating content that resonated with individuals interested in design, antiques, home renovation, and intentional living. The project also led to recognition opportunities, including a upcoming feature with Apartment Therapy and HomeWorthy, and continues to serve as an ongoing creative outlet and source of inspiration.
