There’s been a lot of noteworthy things that have happened in the last few days that are worth celebrating!

My Christmas ornament tradition is continuing at Southern Antiques for the the fourth (or fifth) year in a row! Sweet Laura helped me keep my sanity.

Daniel Renstrom, our worship pastor, taught a great sermon on Psalm 73 today. It’s written by a minister of worship and cleansing in the temple named, Asaph. Asaph is in a crisis of faith and he helped us answer the question: What do we do with feelings of envy? 

My day has been filled with friends, costumes, wigs and laughter. I’m happy to inform you those fun things don’t end after college. You just end up at home and in bed by 10:30pm these days.

Today, it was 55 degrees and rainy outside, and I’ve been in the mood to make something.

Costume parties are my passion.

My little 12th grade group of girls are so smart and ambitious, yet compassionate and gentle at the same time. They remind me of the characters in Little Women. Does this make me Marmee?

Tuesday is kind of my favorite day for two reasons. 1) It’s not Monday, and 2) my small group meets on Tuesday nights.

Do your Mondays feel like a practice run? Sometimes I feel like they are just the trial-run period to see if you’re going to like the rest of the week. Thankfully, productivity was high today.
